Bravery Award – Magic

Magic came to us as a very sick dog. It was the way that she kept up her spirits and fought to live with such determination that struck a chord within me. As she improved, one of my favorite activities to do with her was helping regain her strength in her legs by encouraging her to walk short distances within the hospital. Being a daddy’s girl, when she had recovered enough to go home, it was easy to see why she had wanted to live so badly. I am proud to see Magic’s continued progress, will always remember her brave soul, and her exemplary will to overcome adversity. –Carli

I had met Magic before her major illness. Her wonderful attitude is the reason why I got my rough coated Collie, Blue. When she became ill, she became my special project. Since then, I am amazed at the turnaround she has made. It really is wonderful to see her recover and progress.  Great job, Magic! I am proud of you, and keep up the good work. – Deanna
