Dr. Kelly White

Emergency Veterinarian

Overview/Clinical Interests:

After performing a successful C-section on a dying garter snake at age 5 (using a steak knife (with assistance) and a popsicle stick), Dr. Kelly White was hooked on veterinary medicine. Before starting relief ER work 3 years ago, she had many years of experience in both primary care and emergency medicine. Dr. White enjoys all aspects of emergency veterinary medicine, but finds soft tissue emergency surgeries especially rewarding, particularly GI surgeries (GDV, foreign body obstructions), C-sections, pyometra/emergency ovariohysterectomies, splenectomies, and wound repairs.

Off Duty:

Dr. White enjoys volunteer veterinary work and has participated in spay/neuter campaigns in Guam, Palau, the Cook Islands, and Bora Bora. Away from the ER, she and her family enjoy skiing, biking, hiking, and traveling. They have an Italian greyhound named Zoey, whom they rescued through Italian Greyhound Northwest.
