Dr. Krizia Lepiz Conejo earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, completing her clinical year at Iowa State University. She graduated in 2022 and has been passionate about animal care for as long as she can remember. Dr. Lepiz’s love for animals was sparked during summers spent on her grandfather’s farm in Costa Rica, where her curiosity and compassion for animals grew stronger with every visit. Today, she channels that lifelong passion into her work by not only caring for animals but also supporting the people who love them. She especially enjoys the investigative side of veterinary medicine—solving complex cases and providing thoughtful, individualized care. Surgery days are a particular favorite, offering both challenge and reward. Outside the clinic, Dr. Lepiz enjoys visiting plant shops to expand her growing collection, spending quiet moments painting at home, or soaking up the sun at the beach with her two dogs. .
