Dr. Milan Hundal was born and raised in Ottawa, Canada. She was inspired to enter this career field by her grandfather, who practiced veterinary medicine for over 50 years. Surrounded by animals from a young age, she developed a deep passion for their care. Dr. Hundal earned her Honors Bachelor of Health Science Degree from Carleton University in 2019, majoring in global health with a minor in world religion. During her undergraduate studies, she explored the concept of “One Health,” realizing that she could make the greatest impact as a veterinarian—a profession that connects people, animals, plants, and their shared environment.
She pursued her veterinary degree at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, completing her didactic training in 2021-2022 and her clinical training at Louisiana State University from 2022 to 2023, graduating with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 2023.
Dr. Hundal is passionate about preventative care, improving the quality of life for senior pets, and the continuous growth opportunities in veterinary medicine. In her free time, she enjoys scuba diving, snorkeling, cooking new recipes, reading, building LEGO, and traveling.
She is a proud member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the California State Veterinary Medical Association.
